OK, so me and two of my friends are running through the desert. The girl in the middle is wearing a white flowing dress and we’re handcuffed together. There’s a pack of hounds chasing after us and there’s some dogs running with us running running run through the together come up on this big Mesquite tree and all of a sudden the door opens and we run in there. The pack of hounds turns into this one guy and some Lynch men like I guess then the dogs over with that turned into these guys and they were outside fighting the girl in the middle and the white dress floats up into the sky and just me and my friend are handcuffed together and we run out the back door and I’m running running running and I wake up every single time
Dreams about being chased often symbolize feelings of anxiety, stress, or the feeling of being pursued by a problem in your life. In this dream, running through a desert indicates you might currently feel overwhelmed and exposed to challenges, as deserts often symbolize feelings of emptiness or isolation.
The Desert: Represents a space or situation in your life that feels barren or devoid of support. This setting suggests feelings of isolation, where resources (like time, energy, or support) might feel scarce.
Running with Friends: The presence of friends indicates that there are people in your life who share your journey or struggles. Being handcuffed to the girl in white suggests a significant connection or commitment to her, possibly representing a part of yourself or an actual person to whom you feel closely tied.
The Girl in the White Dress: White often symbolizes purity, innocence, or a desire for simplicity and clarity. Her floating away could symbolize transcendence, escaping problems, or achieving a state of peace that seems unreachable under current circumstances. It may also be indicative of a changing relationship with the person or aspect she represents.
The Pack of Hounds/Pursuers: These represent your anxieties, fears, or pressures. The transformation of hounds into human figures might signify these aren't external threats but perhaps social pressures or criticisms you face.
The Mesquite Tree with a Door: Trees usually symbolize growth, stability, and life. The door in the tree indicates an opportunity for escape or a solution that is as yet unexplored or unexpected. This suggests hope or an alternative that might be available to resolve your current anxieties.
The Conflict Outside: The girl floating into the sky while you're still running implies a separation between your goal and your ability to reach it at the moment, despite efforts to combat the metaphorical 'pursuers.'
The Emotion of Running and Waking Up: The continuous running until you wake up is indicative of your feeling unable to find relief or resolution to an ongoing concern. Waking up might reflect your conscious attempt to pull yourself away from these unresolved feelings.
Internal Conflict: Your dream suggests you are dealing with an internal struggle or decision that involves significant people or aspects of your life. The presence of friends hints at shared concerns or collaborations that are important to address collectively.
Fear and Responsibility: The handcuffs suggest a sense of obligation or duty that you are unable to sever, perhaps you feel tied to certain responsibilities or relationships that may be contributing to your stress.
Hope for Resolution: The recurring act of running might suggest that there is hope or a belief in finding a solution, even if it currently seems elusive. The appearance and transformation of various elements symbolize change and the potential for growth or new beginnings.
This dream invites reflection on how you deal with challenges and relationships in your waking life, urging you to consider pathways or support systems (represented by the "door" and "friends") that may aid you in overcoming your current obstacles.
